PPP to contest elections with new zeal: Zardari

LAHORE: Former President of Pakistan and President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari Monday said that the party will contest the 2018 elections with new zeal.

Addressing a delegation from Sargodha division here at Bilawal House, Asif Ali Zardari claimed that problems of the people had multiplied over the years.

The workers should become active, he said adding Pakistan Peoples Party believed in the nation as it had always considered people being the source of power. This is why, whenever the party comes into power, the first priority is to solve the problems of the people, he said.

Zardari said that in the past, there had been numerous allegations on Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto that she used her position as the Prime Minister to give jobs to people. PPP will continue to provide jobs to the people of Pakistan and will create job opportunities for youngsters once again, he added.

Zardari said that the Pakistan Peoples Party manifesto is justice for the downtrodden masses. Sajjada Nashin Toba Tek Sindh Khurram Gilani, Sajjada Nashin Bari Imam Muqaddas Kazmi and Sajjada Nashin Sang Jani Tahir Sajjad called on the former President here at Zardari House and assured support to the party. Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed, Amir Fida Paracha, Tasnim Qureshi, Aslam Madhyana, Mehreen Anwar Raja and Jahan Ara Wattoo were also present on the occasion.
