HYDERABAD: As elsewhere, Shab-e -Barat- the night of forgiveness- will be observed here on May 1st, 2018 (Tuesday), with religious devotion and fervor.
Elaborate arrangements have been made by the Ulema to organize congregations for Shabe-e Barat at all the mosques of Hyderabad, Latifabad and Qasimabad talukas of the district. Major Shabe-e Barat congregation will be held at the Faizan-e-madina, Jamia Mosque Saddar and Afandi Town.
Hundreds of thousands Muslims in the sub-continent observe this night with religious zeal and active participation in congregational prayers held in mosques as well as at homes for seeking the blessings of Allah Almighty for welfare of entire nation and Ummah.
The night of forgiveness that falls on fifteenth day of Sha'ban and around two weeks before the beginning of Ramzan is widely believed to be the night when Allah almighty writes the destinies of all human beings for the coming year by taking into account the deeds committed by them in the preceding year.
The managements of the different mosques have already made arrangement for illuminations at the mosques.
The Khateebs and Ulemas will deliver special sermons highlighting the significance of Shabe-e Barat. On the occasion, special Dua will be offered for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan, the unity of Muslims world over and for their emancipation.
