ISLAMABAD: Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD), Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has said that attitude of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) parliamentarians during the fiscal budget 2018-19 was pathetic.
“I have seen many peaceful protests during the budgets in my political career but PTI MNA Murad Saeed tried to attack Finance Minister Dr Miftah Ismail when he was presenting the budget on Friday,” he said talking to a private news channel.
The minister said this was not a decent gesture of lawmakers. Being public representatives, they should set an example in Parliament for others.
He said Parliament is a forum to show their power of intelligence but not force. “We already knew that PTI members will create hurdles through violence during the budget speech.”
He said PTI leadership had always shown their non-seriousness on national issues.
Tariq Fazal said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had successfully presented six budgets and termed budget 2018-19 a people friendly to provide relief to the masses.
He said the present government would continuously deliver for uplift and prosperity of the country and people.
