ISLAMABAD: Minister for Climate Change Senator Mushahidullah Khan on Tuesday said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), government was spending billions of rupees for motorways, Thar-Coal, greenline, water and other projects to facilitate the people of Sindh province.

The federal government had provided the help to improve the infrastructure for the people of Karachi, he said while talking to a news channel.

Pakistan Peoples Party could not streamline the system while running the government in Sindh, he said. Commenting on Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf chief's action against the elements who sold their votes in Senate elections, he said PTI chief should also adopt uniform policy for other members of his party. He said the PTI members had been levelling allegations of corruption against Imran Khan and chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhawa.

To a question he said that millions of people were supporting Nawaz Sharif due to his performance and deliverance.

The people would take the decision and choose those leaders of the party who performed and delivered well. To another question he said PML-N government had launched "tree plantation campaign" to mitigate the negative impact of climate change.

Replying to a question he said Nawaz Sharif's narrative was getting popularity among the masses regarding sanctity of vote. He said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had worked for strengthening the institutions, adding that the PML-N would bring reforms after coming into power in the next elections.
