ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has prepared a draft of sanitation policy for preservation of hygienic conditions in the province.
A spokesman of Public Health Engineering department said that in the draft policy, thirty percent funds of the local government will be spent on cleanliness and public hygiene, Radio Pakistan reported.
A computerized performance management system will also be installed at tehsil, district and village level to monitor cleanliness drives.
Proper disposal of municipal and hospital waste is also part of the sanitation policy.
