Top cricket stars to dazzle at Pakistan Cup 2018

Pakistan premier domestic cricket tournament Pakistan Cup 2018 will kick off from Wednesday at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.

The tournament consisting of day and night matches will be featuring five teams – Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Federal Areas – in the tournament and will be held from April 25 to May 6.

All the One Day Internationals (ODIs) of the tournament will be played day and night under the aegis of Pakistan Cricket Board.

The tickets for the matches will be sold at 14 different places in the city. However, six window containers have been placed near Thandi Khoi for sale of ticket for league matches at the rate of Rs 100 and Rs 200 each match.

The opening match of the tournament will be played between Punjab and Balochistan on April 25. The participating teams will feature in four matches each before the top two teams making it to the final to be played on May 6.

Opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad will lead Balochistan, while wicketkeeper batsman Kamran Akmal will captain the Federal team. Meanwhile, Umar Amin will lead Sindh and veteran all rounder Shoaib Malik will lead Punjab. Mohammad Hafeez will be the leader of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
