FRANKFURT: The volume of overnight funds held by banks at the European Central Bank has hit a new record high, official data showed Wednesday.
Banks put 453.18 billion euros ($591 billion) on deposit at the ECB for 24 hours on Tuesday, breaking a previous record for the facility of 452.03 billion euros.
