KARACHI: Gold jumped by Rs 557 to close at Rs 46,585 per 10 grams in the local market Tuesday as its international price surged to $ 1,590 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also went up by Rs 650 to Rs 54,350.
Silver closed higher at Rs 980 per 10 grams.
