WhatsApp’s new feature makes voice recording way easier

WhatsApp introduced many features in its latest update, however, one of the features regarding WhatsApp’s voice recording has made the process a lot more easier.

The social media messaging app WhatsApp introduced two new options to its voice recording feature, ‘Locked Recordings’ and ‘Preview Recordings’, on its beta version. People won’t have to press and hold the voice record button while recording and can also preview them before sending it.

Talking about ‘Locked Recordings’, as Financial Express  explains, users can lock the voice recording while they speak instead of keeping the voice record button pressed the entire time. As the user will press and hold the mic icon for 0.5 seconds, the locked microphone button will be visible, which can be enabled by sliding up the finger to the lock icon. The lock button will prove to be beneficial in case of recording longer messages.

The second ‘Preview Recording’ feature will allow users to listen to their voice message before they finally send them. However, both these new features are currently available in WhatsApp Android beta version, as Tech Juice reports.
