SEOUL: South Korea may impose additional capital control measures to prevent a reversal in rising fund inflows from pushing Asia's fourth-largest economy into a new crisis, Vice Finance Minister Shin Je-yoon said.
"(The government) is watching the markets while studying possible measures to take in case of a further rise in capital flows," Shin told reporters late on Monday during a scheduled briefing on the ministry's policy plans.
His remarks were embargoed for publication until Tuesday.
