ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has sent a message of greetings to Prime Minister of the Palestinian National Authority Dr Salam Fayyad on the 46th anniversary of the Palestinian Revolution falling on January 1, 2012.
In his message, the Prime Minister said "on behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan and on my own behalf, I wish to extend warmest felicitations to Your Excellency and the fraternal people of Palestine on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the Palestinian Revolution."
The Prime Minister said, "We wish the brotherly people of Palestine success in their just struggle for self-determination and to have a state of their own, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital."
"I am confident that existing bonds of friendship and brotherhood between our two peoples will be further strengthened in the years to come," he added.
