Police surgeon Dr Baqir Shah laid to rest

QUETTA: Police Surgeon Dr Baqir Shah was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard in Goth Laritanya near Sibi, Friday.

Unknown armed men had shot dead Dr Baqir Shah on Thursday when he was on his way to home at Sabzal Road. Dr Baqir Shah was part of the probe team which investigated the Khrotabad tragedy in which five Chechan national were killed.

Earlier, large number of people from all walks of life attended the funeral prayers of Dr Baqir Shah at Jamia mosque in Jacobabad.
