ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior Rehman Malik said on Friday that the next general election would be held on time and the present government would complete its tenure.
Talking to media persons outside the parliament, he said, all the institutions of the country were working in their domain. To a question, Rehman Malik said government has provided fool proof security to Tehrik-e-Insaf in their public meetings.
The Minister said the era of terrorist was over and anti-state elements were spreading disinformation among the masses.
He said Police and Rangers were playing effective role in maintaining peace in Karachi. The minister said investigation into Kharotabad incident and killing of Baqir Shah was underway, adding, both were interlinked.
