HAFIZABAD: Around Rs 239.62 million are being spent on provision of potable water, missing facilities in schools, road network and health care in Hafizabad-Jalalpur Bhattian said MPA Asadullah Arain.
While talking to this agency here on Friday, he said that Rs. 200 million were being spent under the Special Package 2010-11 jointly funded by him and MNA Saira Afzal Tarar for widening and improvement of Hafizabad-Pindi Bhattian road (31-miles) from Jinnah Chowk Hafizabad to Pindi Bhattian.
The legislator said that Rs. 13.456 million were being spent on the rehabilitation of people along Shah Jamal road, while provision of additional rooms and other missing facilities in more than 12 schools was also going on.
He said that road improvement from Vanike Tarar to Kot Qadir Bukhsh, Kolo Tarar to Kot Ishaq road was also being executed at a cost of Rs. 5.635 million. "Existing Government Higher Secondary School in Jalalpur Bhattian is being converted into Model School at a cost of Rs 3.750 million", he added.
Ch. Asadullah Arain has large following in Jalalpur Bhattian and is donating substantially to the T.B. Hospital, Dialysis Centre Hafizabad.
