KARACHI: At the end of the first session on Friday, the KSE-100 index closed at 11,412.26 level, down 23.41 points.

After positive opening the investors opted for profit taking and index dropped in to negative zone.

Trading volumes stood at 19.804 million shares.

At the end of the first session, 107 stocks declined and 85 advanced while the value of 19 stocks was unchanged.

TRG Pakistan was volume leader with 4.329 million shares and gained Re 0.05 at Rs1.19 followed by NIB Bank that increased by Re 0.09 at Rs1.18 with 4.236 million shares.
