MUMBAI: The Indian rupee fell early on Friday as oil importers stepped up dollar buying, traders said.
At 9:08 a.m. (0338 GMT), the rupee was at 53.14/15 to the dollar, marginally lower weaker than Thursday's close of 53.07/08.
