KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister, Manzoor Hussain Wassan, has instructed that comprehensive security arrangements be made on the new year's eve.
Chairing a meeting in his office here on Thursday, he directed the police officials besides security arrangements, steps be also taken for ensuring the flow of traffic.
The Minister stressed that it be strictly ensured that there is no aerial firing on the eve of the new year and prompt action be initiated against the violators of the law.
He said that with adequate security a sense of protection be fostered among the people.
Wassan also instructed that traffic police should initiate action against those riding motorbikes without silencers.
He also directed the concerned DIGs, SSPs, DSPs and SHOs to remain in the field and ensure law and order.
