KARACHI: Air Link Communication Limited is set to launch its electric bike brand, “AirV”, in Lahore, marking the company’s entry into Pakistan’s electric vehicle industry.

In a material information notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday, the company said AirV would debut with 11 models across six series. The bikes will feature technology-led functions, including cruise control, regenerative battery technology, NFC functionality and anti-theft features. The range will vary by model, with some offering up to 200 kilometers.

The company said the project was being implemented at its manufacturing facility in the Sundar Green Special Economic Zone (SGSEZ), Lahore. The initiative forms part of Air Link’s business diversification strategy, under which it plans to use its manufacturing capabilities and nationwide distribution network to expand into electric mobility.

Air Link said it aims to develop a scalable mobility business through AirV, catering to both individual and enterprise customers.

The announcement follows the company’s material information notice dated July 23, 2026, concerning approval of its electric bike manufacturing project under the AirV brand. The latest disclosure was made under Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1(a) of PSX Regulations.
