KARACHI: Colgate-Palmolive (CP) Pakistan Limited has signed an Asset Purchase Agreement with Procter & Gamble (P&G) Pakistan (Private) Limited to acquire land, a manufacturing facility and related assets at Port Qasim, Karachi, marking a further step towards completing a transaction.
In a material information disclosure submitted to the PSX on Wednesday, the company said the latest disclosure followed its earlier announcement dated May 14, 2026, regarding the proposed acquisition of the land, manufacturing facility and associated assets owned by Procter & Gamble Pakistan at Port Qasim.
The agreement sets out the proposed transfer of the specified property and assets to Colgate-Palmolive Pakistan. The company’s disclosure, however, did not provide the financial value of the transaction, details of the assets covered beyond the land and manufacturing facility, or an expected date for completion.
The transaction is subject to the CCP’s approval, a regulatory requirement that must be fulfilled before the acquisition can be completed.
Colgate-Palmolive Pakistan submitted the information under Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the PSX Regulations, which govern the disclosure of material information by listed companies.
The agreement represents a formal step in the proposed acquisition process.
