Meeting of women entrepreneurs held at TDAP’s Quetta office
QUETTA: A consultative meeting with women entrepreneurs was held at the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Regional Office Quetta, in connection with the upcoming 1st Edition of WEXNET Quetta. The meeting was chaired by Director, TDAP Regional Office Quetta, Noor Ali Achakzai.
Women entrepreneurs from Quetta and other parts of Balochistan participated in the meeting. Detailed discussions were held regarding the organization of WEXNET Quetta, participation of women entrepreneurs, product display, market linkages and business opportunities.
On the occasion, Director TDAP Regional Office Quetta, Noor Ali Achakzai said that women entrepreneurs are playing a vital role in the national economy and promotion of exports. He said that WEXNET Quetta will provide women with opportunities to showcase their products and business potential, establish new business linkages and gain access to national and international markets.
Participants were given a detailed briefing on the objectives of WEXNET, participation procedure and expected activities. The women entrepreneurs also presented various suggestions regarding marketing, branding, packaging, market access, business linkages and exports of their products.
