ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi discussed the political and security situation in the province during a telephone conversation on Thursday.

Governor Kundi briefed Bilawal on recent terrorist incidents in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Dera Ismail Khan, Hangu, Tank and Kohat.

He also informed the PPP chairman about the downing of drones from Afghanistan before they could reach their intended targets, according to a statement.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to play its role in dealing with the terrorism and war-like situation in the province and urged that the long march be called off unconditionally.
