Activities at Port Qasim

KARACHI: A total of twelve ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Gas Chem Werra and M Bristol left the port on Wednesday morning, while six more ships, SLS Topaz, MSC Giovanna-VII, Arkas, Shel Duck, Saltwind Explorer and Lian Shan Hu are expected to sail on Wednesday.

Cargo volume of 205,295 tones comprising 180,195 tones imports cargo and 25,100 export cargo carried in 3,339 Containers (2,474 TEUs Imports and 865 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 17 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, Peng Hu Wan, Elora-I, Jarama, BahriMunira and Yangtze Brightness and another containers ship ‘CMA CGM Rimbaud’ scheduled to load/offload Bitumen, Palm oil, Mogas, Coal and Container are expected to take berths MW-2, LCT, FOTCO, PQEPT, PIBT and QICT respectively on 2nd September, 2026.
