Advance Group celebrates 79th Independence Day with national spirit and corporate commitment

Advance Group, a diversified business group with leading companies in Telecom, Technology, Energy and infrastructure, marked the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan with grand celebrations across its Head Office and project sites. The events reflected national pride and the Group’s commitment to Pakistan’s development and digital future.

On 14th August 2026, all Advance Group companies — Advance Telecom, Enercom Technologies, Advance TransESS, and Advance Amica Energy — were filled with the colors of green and white. Employees gathered for flag-raising ceremonies, national anthem recitations, and addresses by senior leadership.

The centerpiece of the celebrations was the flag-raising and cake-cutting ceremony conducted by Group’s Chairman Mr. Abdul Majid, along with CEO Mr. Rizwan Majid and President Mr. Asif Majid at the Advance Group Head Office in Karachi & at their factories. Senior management and employees from all companies attended.

On the occasion, Mr. Abdul Majid made a speech and emphasized on the group’s commitment to contribute in the development & prosperity of Pakistan and the nation. He went on to say that “Pakistan was made after lots of scarifies and it’s existence is ensured through the resilience of our nation & courage / gallantry of our Armed Forces under the brave leadership of Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Hafiz Syed Asim Munir – We must safeguard our freedom at any cost.”

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rizwan Majid stated:

“Independence Day is a reminder of the sacrifices of our forefathers and our responsibility to build a stronger Pakistan. As Advance Group, we are committed to contributing through technology, energy, and infrastructure that empower our nation.

“Mr. Asif Majid added: “The progress of Pakistan and the progress of our companies go hand in hand. Today we celebrate our independence and renew our pledge to serve the country with dedication and innovation.”

Advance Telecom – Head Office, Karachi

The main event was held at the Advance Group Head Office. Following the flag-raising by Mr. Rizwan Majid and Mr. Asif Majid, the national anthem was played and a cake was cut to mark the day. Employees from Advance Telecom participated in patriotic spirit. The leadership emphasized innovation, teamwork, and the role of affordable Smart Phones in enabling Digital Pakistan.

Enercom Technologies – Celebrating with Energy and Zeal

At Enercom Technologies’ project site, employees organized a flag-raising ceremony followed by team addresses. The site was decorated with national flags and green/white balloons. The event highlighted the contribution of technical teams who ensure innovation & quality in every device that they make. The message focused on how reliable connectivity is vital for national development.

Advance TransESS – Fostering Team Spirit

Advance TransESS also hosted the celebrations. The focus was on unity, collaboration, and instilling the spirit of patriotism in the next generation. The event reinforced Advance Group’s culture of inclusivity and employee well-being.

Advance Amica Energy – Community and Corporate Responsibility

At Advance Amica Energy, the Independence Day celebration was combined with a CSR initiative & every employee committed to plant at least one tree for greener Pakistan. Management emphasized that true independence also means uplifting communities through green-energy — green Pakistan. The initiative was appreciated by both employees and local residents.
