ISLAMABAD: The China-Pakistan Study Centre (CPSC) at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI), in collaboration with China Media Group (CMG), organised a seminar titled “CPC 105 Years: Achievements, Experiences, and the China-Pakistan Community with a Shared Future,” bringing together senior officials, diplomats, scholars, academics, media representatives, and students.

Chairman ISSI Board of Governors Ambassador Khalid Mahmood said the Communist Party of China’s (CPC) 105-year journey reflects visionary leadership, long-term strategic planning, institutional resilience, and sustained reforms that transformed China into a global economic and technological power. He said China’s development experience offers important lessons for Pakistan, particularly in areas such as the digital economy, artificial intelligence, green development, agricultural modernization, and human resource development under CPEC.

Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Wajiha Qamar described the CPC’s journey as a model of national rejuvenation and people-centred governance, stressing that the next phase of Pakistan-China cooperation should focus on education, scientific research, innovation, skills development, and youth empowerment.

Former Ambassador to China Masood Khan highlighted the CPC’s role in China’s economic transformation, technological progress, and poverty alleviation, noting that CPEC 2.0 is expanding cooperation into industrial development, agriculture, emerging technologies, and vocational training.

Chinese Deputy Head of Mission Shi Yuanqiang reaffirmed Beijing’s commitment to advancing high-quality CPEC cooperation and implementing the Action Plan for an Even Closer China-Pakistan Community with a Shared Future, while expanding collaboration under China’s global development, security, civilization, and governance initiatives.

Former High Commissioner to Australia Naela Chohan emphasized that Pakistan-China relations are rooted in mutual trust and sovereign equality, highlighting growing cooperation in artificial intelligence, the digital economy, healthcare, education, tourism, innovation, and youth exchanges.
