MIRPURKHAS: A joint operation by intelligence and law enforcement agencies in Chachro tehsil of Tharparkar district here on Sunday has led to the detention of 15 suspected Afghan nationals following scrutiny of their residency status and identity documents, according to local police sources.
Officials said the operation focused on Afghan families who had reportedly been residing near Chachro Police Station for several years. During the verification process, authorities examined their credentials and residential records, after which 15 individuals were taken into custody and shifted to Karachi for further legal proceedings and investigation.
