KARACHI: Changgaiz Hussain Khan, Chairman of the Balochistan Council on Foreign Relations (BCFR), alongside Team Balochistan in a statement praising Pakistan’s pivotal role as a primary mediator in neutralising long-standing tensions between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Council highlighted that Pakistan’s diplomatic intervention serves as a cornerstone for regional stability and global peace. This strategic positioning has garnered international optimism, with experts anticipating a new era of de-escalation and cooperation in the region.
The BCFR credited the success of this delicate diplomatic mission to the seamless synergy between Pakistan’s civil and military leadership.
Specific recognition was given to the strategic vision of the military establishment, led by the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, whose leadership has been instrumental in navigating complex geopolitical waters and steering active mediation in Tehran.
