Sri Lankan shares close lower

COLOMBO: Sri Lankan shares closed lower on Monday, as a broad-based fall across all sectors dragged the CSE All Share index down.

The CSE All Share index settled down 2.59 percent at 22,313.47.

Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC and Kerner Haus Global Solutions PLC were the top percentage losers on the CSE All Share index, falling 12.89 percent and 12.78 percent, respectively.

Trading volume on the CSE All Share index rose to 210.4 million shares from 114.6 million in the previous session.
