The positive trajectory y of the index was largely supported by substantial growth in the usage sub-index, followed by access and quality sub-indices, reflecting successful implementation of the digital initiatives under National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS) 2024-28.

Notable drivers include RAAST merchant on-boarding and payment ecosystem, introduction of digital banks, account opening drives. These advancements were further reinforced by strong consumer orientation and financial literacy.
