KARACHI: A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them containers ship ‘MSC Maria Elena’ left the port on today morning, while three more ships, Nilos, Eastern Laelia and Thor Magnhild are expected to sail on afternoon.
Cargo volume of 129,894 tones comprising 123,856 tones imports cargo and 6,038 export cargo carried in 2,486 Containers (2,486 TEUs Imports & 0 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 11 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Fortune Queen, Honor Galaxy, Bao Yue Ling and PM Hayabusa-II and another ship ‘Zhong Gu Kun Ming’ carrying Soya Bean Seed, Chemicals, Coal and Container expected to take berths FAP, EVTL, MW-4, PIBT and QICT respectively on 04th May, 2026.
