KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 147,200 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 83,148 tonnes of Import Cargo and 64,052 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 83,148T tonnes Comprised of 48,332 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 1,798 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 2,701 tonnes of Soya Beans Seeds & 30,317 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 64,052 tonnes Comprised of 25,044 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 487 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 28,250 tonnes of Clinkers, 271 tonnes of Rice & 10,000 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, 06 ships namely Blue Star 3, CmaCgm Nabucco, Galaxy, Jaador, Ming Qiang Xing, P Aliki, Sanana & X-Press Capella berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 06 ships namely, Bow Success, Cnc Dream, Gsl Grania, Yuan Xiang Fa Zhan, Rodos & Blue Star sailed the from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a grain ship ‘Cepheus’ left the port on today morning, while four more ships, Burgan, Jahan Moni, CD Fortune and CMA CGM Syracrusz are expected to sail on Wednesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 147,912 tones comprising 97,762 tones imports cargo and 50,150 export cargo carried in 1,454 Containers (184 TEUs Imports & 1,270 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 10 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, CMA CGM Syracrusz, African Parrot, Cartegina, Liefde and Lamu scheduled to load/offload Container, Cement, Palm oil, Soya Bean Seed and Gasoline expected to take berths QICT, MW-1, LCT, FAP and FOTCO respectively on Wednesday 15th April, 2026.
