KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 179,883 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 111,355 tonnes of Import Cargo and 68,528 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 111,355 tonnes Comprised of 41,949 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 1,142 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 4,836 tonnes of Soya Beans Seeds & 63,428 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 68,528 tonnes Comprised of 31,053 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 561 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 36,350 tonnes of Clinkers & 564 tonnes of Rice.
As many as, 07 ships namely, GslGrania, He Run Xiang Mao, Cosco Glory, Ever Excel, Sea Elegant, Cnc Dream & Yuan Xiang Fa Zhan berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
About 09, ships namely, Albert P, CmaCgm Cassiopeia, M.T Lahore, Msc Elisa Xiii, Selen, Captain John, Inter Sydney, Putuoshan, Oocl Le Havre & He Run Xiang Mao sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a containers ship ‘Al-Bert-P’ expected to sail on Tuesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 154,567 tones comprising 115,898 tones imports cargo and 38,669 export cargo carried in 3,000 Containers (2,150 TEUs Imports & 850 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 8 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them a bulk cargo ship ‘Van Leopard’ with Coal expected to take berths Pakistan International Bulk Terminal Tuesday 14th April, 2026.
