MIRPUR (AJK): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister (PM) Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to address public concerns besides expanding development projects across the region, particularly in remote areas of the state.

“Dedicated party workers are the true strength of the Pakistan Peoples Party, whose central mission is the welfare and prosperity of the common man,” the PM said.

While speaking to a delegation of the Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Jammu Kashmir Women’s Wing, led by President Shaheen Kausar Dar at the JK House on Saturday, reported by APP correspondent.

He called for further strengthening of the party’s organizational structure and for providing women with equal leadership opportunities at all levels.

The delegation also included General Secretary Shagufta Noreen Kazmi, former Member of Assembly Kausar Gilani, Information Secretary Zobia Khursheed Raja, and Punjab Zone President Musarrat Gujjar.

During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Prime Minister on the party’s organizational matters, workers’ activities, and the role of the Women’s Wing, particularly in the context of the upcoming elections.

They also highlighted the socio-economic challenges faced by people in various districts and discussed government initiatives concerning fundamental rights, along with future priorities.

The Women’s Wing leaders paid tribute to the Prime Minister for his efforts in improving governance, advancing public welfare projects, and promoting overall development in Azad Kashmir.

They also expressed full confidence in his leadership and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
