LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has announced summer working hours for subordinate courts effective from April 01.
According to a notification issued by Registrar LHC, all the civil and sessions courts will hold hearings from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with a break for prayers and meals from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
On Fridays, hearings will take place from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm.
In Murree, civil and sessions courts will operate from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The LHC has also asked the lawyers to wear gowns while appearing at principal seat of the LHC and its benches from March 30.
