KARACHI: The Metropolis sweltered under 36-degree Celsius heat on Tuesday as the city braced for the final stretch of Ramadan, the Met Office said.
The Met forecast hot and dry conditions across most parts of Sindh including Karachi Division through Thursday. It has warned that the metropolis may see a sudden and big rise in temperature from current week.
Conditions are forecast to remain largely similar on Wednesday, with maximum temperatures ranging between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius and minimums between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius.
Morning humidity is expected to be higher, between 80 and 90 percent, easing to 30 to 40 percent in the evening, with winds continuing from the west-south-westerly direction.
Thursday is expected to bring comparable temperatures, with highs again between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius and lows between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius.
