SSGC appoints Amin Rajput as interim MD, CEO
- He will retire from the permanent service of the SSGC on February 13
Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) announced on Friday the appointment of Muhammad Amin Rajput as Managing Director and CEO for the three-month interim period.
The SSGC shared the development in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.
“Muhammad Amin Rajput, Acting Managing Director / CEO, will be reaching the age of superannuation and will retire from the permanent service of the company on 13th February 2026,” the notice read.
The company informed that to ensure leadership continuity while the formal process for appointing a permanent Managing Director/CEO was underway, Rajput was appointed as interim Managing Director/CEO for three months, effective immediately after his retirement.
Rajput has over 30 years of diversified experience in finance, audit and management with oil and gas, energy, manufacturing and automobile sectors.
Before joining SSGC, he served with K-Electric as Chief Internal Auditor and Zahid Tractor, Saudi Arabia (Volvo & Caterpillar), in various Finance & Audit positions.
He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and Certified Internal Auditor.
