HYDERABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Central Secretary Information and Member of the National Assembly Shazia Atta Marri on Sunday visited Civil Hospital Hyderabad to inquire after health of Shadbano Malah, the victim of the Chotiari incident.
During the visit, she received a comprehensive briefing from doctors regarding her ongoing treatment. She met the victim and her family, expressed solidarity, and assured them of full support, vowing that justice would be ensured at all costs.
Speaking to the media, Marri said that one of the accused, Wazir Rajar, has already been arrested, while investigations are under way from multiple angles. She described the incident as deeply distressing, saying it had left humanity ashamed, and reaffirmed that the Sindh government would provide complete support to the affected girl and her family.
