Pakistan’s federal ministry of information has timely rubbished the wild speculations and allegations stemming from India and Afghanistan; according to which, Pakistan is being used as a base or a launch corridor to support the US for a possible military strike on Iran.
Little do these propaganda machineries know that Pakistan cannot afford destabilization on its western borders mainly because of the fact that it is already immersed in potential tensions with India and facing terrorist attacks from Afghanistan almost on a daily basis.
Pakistan, in my view, does not want Iran’s government to fall or its violent disintegration. Nor does it want continuation or perpetuation of political unrest in the Islamic republic.
