Punjab Ordinance 2025: LHC approached against CM, minister for criticizing decision

LAHORE: A citizen Munir Ahmed on Saturday has approached the Lahore High Court (LHC) against Punjab Chief Minister and Information Minister Punjab for criticizing a decision of the LHC about “Punjab Protection of Ownership of Immovable Property Ordinance 2025”.

The petitioner through his counsel contended that the respondents’ statements undermined the judiciary and the judicial system.

He, therefore, asked the court to initiate contempt of court proceedings against the respondents.
