CDF meets Under-19 cricket team

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Monday met members of the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team at General Headquarters, where he congratulated them on their historic victory in the Asia Cup Men’s Under-19.

During the meeting, the Field Marshal Asim Munir praised the players, team management, and officials for their outstanding performance, describing the triumph as a moment of immense pride for the nation.

He lauded the team’s discipline, teamwork, and fighting spirit, saying their success reflected the strength of character and commitment displayed throughout the tournament. Commending the dedication and hard work of the young cricketers, Field Marshal Asim Munir said the achievement highlighted the immense talent and potential of Pakistan’s youth.
