KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where four ships, MSC Floriana-VI, Genco Madeleine, Sinar Toraja and Al-Areesh carrying Container, Soya Bean Seed, LPG and LNG, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Grain Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and Pakistan Gas Port Terminal respectively on December 14th, Meanwhile another containers ship ‘Seaspan Lucas’ also arrived at outer anchorage on Monday morning.
A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a containers ship ‘MSC Floriana-VI’ left the port on today morning, while five more ships, Sinar Toraja, Chemroad Zenith, New Ability, Horizon-I and Captain Lucas are expected to sail on Monday afternoon.
Cargo volume of99,844 tonnes, comprising 92,088 tonnes imports cargo and7,756 export cargo carried in 1,083 Containers (829 TEUs Imports & 254 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 15 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, MH Borga, Paccha, Sarwat Gas, Gas Lily and Seaspan Santos & another ship ‘ONE Presence’ carrying Palm oil, Gasoline, LPG, Chemicals and Container are expected to take berths at LCT, FOTCO, SSGC, EVTL and QICT on Monday 15th December, 2025.
