LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif extended heartfelt congratulations to brothers and sisters of the United Arab Emirates, as well as its visionary leadership on behalf of people of Punjab, on their National Day.
In her message on the occasion, she praised UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, calling him a leader who transformed vision into reality and success by setting a new global benchmark for leadership. She said that UAE has demonstrated that future is not something to wait for, but something to create. She added that we share the joy of United Arab Emirates today, and we profoundly share their happiness.
The chief minister said while highlighting deep-rooted relations between Pakistan and UAE that the bond between two nations is based on brotherhood which transcends borders. She added that whenever Pakistan faced challenges, UAE always stood by it like a true brother.
