LAHORE: Punjab’s expert coaches continued to impart modern training to different teams at multiple training camps being organized under the auspices of Sports Board Punjab at various sports venues of Nishtar Park Sports Complex on Monday.
These training camps are being conducted for the preparation of upcoming 35th National Games which are scheduled to be organised at Karachi from December 6 to 13.
Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry, who is monitoring Punjab’s all training camps regularly, visited various training camps to assess the proceedings of coaching camps being organized under the supervision of qualified coaches.
Talking on this occasion, Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry said that all possible facilities are being provided to the players in the training camps. “All the male and female athletes are showing great amount of passion and enthusiasm in the camps which is very encouraging”.
It may be noted that the Punjab contingent will participate in the 35th National Games under the leadership of Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar.
On Monday, boxing and judo training camps were organised at Contact Body Center where coaches gave final touches to their training process and advised athletes to utilize their talent and energy for better results in the mega event of National Games. The badminton training camp was conducted at the Nishtar Park Sports Complex gymnasium hall where senior provincial coach Zareena Waqar and her team taught modern techniques to Punjab badminton male and female players.
