LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has claimed a clear lead of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) candidates and victory by a large margin.
After releasing a video of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s (PTI) empty camps and voters thronging PML-N polling camp, Azma Bukhari said people vote for Khidmat and people have rejected the politics of chaos and hatred.

The TV channel has also reported that low turnout of voters is being witnessed in the bye-elections in various constituencies of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In Lahore NA-129 constituency, various polling stations established in Rustam Park, Lahore, wear a deserted look. Polling Station No. 187, where the number of registered voters is 1167, had only 4 voters cast their vote.
In Sahiwal Chichawatni, constituencies of NA-143 and PP-203, four candidates are contesting in the elections.
Despite the passage of two and a half hours, no more than 25 votes were cast at any polling station, and no woman had turned up to cast her vote in Polling Station 170.
Polling agents were taken out from Polling Station No. 214, which is established in the Govt Degree College.
In Haripur, a small number of voters turned up to cast their vote in the NA-18 constituency.
From 8 am to 11.18 am, only 50 to 100 votes were cast in different polling stations. Various polling station looks deserted where no voters came to cast a vote.
In Mianwali, the constituency of PP-87 voters’ turnout was too low in the bye-elections. At Polling Station No. 183, only 20 voters cast their vote till 11.14 am.
