KARACHI: The Pakistan Auto Show 2025 (PAPS 2025) is set to take place at the Karachi Expo Center from November 14–16, bringing together leading automotive brands, engineering companies, and mobility innovators.
This year’s edition places special emphasis on the country’s expanding localization base, newly added production capacity and the auto industry’s growing ability to serve both domestic and global markets.
According to the organizer of the Pakistan Auto Show, Pakistan’s automotive vendor and engineering sector has achieved over USD 7 billion in import substitution during the last five years, driven by deep localization and the steady development of domestic manufacturing capabilities. “The entry of new players into the market has created additional capacity across the value chain,” he said. “This growing capacity strengthens our long-term ability to export, and also sets the stage for future localization commitments from new OEMs operating in Pakistan.”
He added that although the industry faced challenging years recently, the ongoing market recovery—reflected in this year’s 46% improvement in volumes—is helping stabilize the ecosystem. “More importantly, the auto manufacturing sector plays a crucial role far beyond vehicle assembly. It builds engineering capabilities, technical talent, and industrial know-how that support multiple other sectors. As new players localize and as the ecosystem matures, we expect the industry’s contribution to the exchequer, employment, and national engineering competitiveness to increase significantly.”
The PAPS 2025 will showcase the latest vehicles, technologies, and innovations shaping Pakistan’s mobility landscape. More than 15 new vehicles are scheduled to be unveiled during the show, offering visitors a first look at upcoming models and future concepts.
A dedicated test-drive experience featuring 13 automotive brands will allow attendees to explore and experience vehicles firsthand. This year’s event will also feature an Engineering & Art Competition, designed to celebrate the creativity and problem-solving spirit of Pakistan’s young engineers, along with a structured B2B engagement area to support industry networking, partnerships, and vendor development. A symposium space within the venue will host product showcases, technical demonstrations, and discussions on the future of mobility and manufacturing.
“The Pakistan Auto Show reflects the depth and ambition of our automotive and engineering ecosystem,” the organizer added. “With new capacity, expanding localization, and a sharpened focus on export competitiveness, Pakistan’s automotive vendor base holds the potential to become one of the country’s most defining industrial strengths in the years ahead.”
The event will run for three days at the Karachi Expo Center and is open to industry professionals, investors, auto enthusiasts, families, and students.
