QUETTA: Four militants were killed and two injured in a fierce clash that broke out between local tribesmen and militants affiliated with the Indian proxy Fitna Al Hindustan in the Korki region of Balochistan, local sources reported on Sunday.
The confrontation began after the militants refused to vacate the area, despite repeated requests and warnings from the tribal elders.
According to the sources, tribal elders and women from Killi Adamzai had appealed to the militants to leave peacefully, even invoking the Holy Quran, but their pleas were ignored.
Instead, the militants started harassing local women in a complete violation of tribal and cultural norms, escalating tensions in the area.
Following these provocations, the tribes took up arms in self-defence, leading to a confrontation that left one tribesman martyred and two others injured, according to tribal sources.
