Over 300 ‘Honri-VE’ assembled, delivered to Eco-Green Motors: DFML
KARACHI: Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML) announced a significant achievement in its electric vehicle (EV) assembly operations, confirming that over 300 units of the Honri-VE have been successfully assembled and delivered to Eco-Green Motors Limited.
These vehicles are now poised for onward delivery to customers, marking a crucial step in the widespread adoption of electric mobility in Pakistan. The announcement was formally communicated in a letter addressed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited on July 8, 2025.
DFML had previously informed on October 11 last year about its strategic toll manufacturing arrangement with its associated company, Eco-Green Motors Limited, for the assembly of the Honri-VE electric vehicles. The successful assembly and handover of more than 300 units within a relatively short period since the restart of manufacturing operations underscore the company’s operational efficiency and commitment to its new ventures, the letter added.
Dewan Farooque Motors Limited, a public limited company incorporated in Pakistan in 1998, has a core business revolving around the assembling, progressive manufacturing, and sale of vehicles in Pakistan. The company in its letter to the PSX expressed its profound appreciation and gratitude to all stakeholders for their unwavering trust and confidence, especially as it re-establishes its presence in the manufacturing sector. This milestone not only highlights DFML’s progress in the EV segment but also signifies its robust reentry into the broader automotive manufacturing landscape, it added.
