PTI condemns Bilawal's visit to India

  • Fawad Chaudhry said "Pakistan’s foreign policy is dead"
Published Updated

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday condemned the visit of Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to India, stating that “Pakistan’s foreign policy is dead”.

In a tweet, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said “strongly condemn FM visit of Goa, participation would have been possible on video but problem is you people in love of Modi are ready to disregard atrocities committed by Modi Janta in Kashmir and hardships Muslims of India and minorities to make Modi Janta happy. Pak Foreign policy is dead by all definitions of the word.”

Endorsing his views, PTI tweeted "Absolutely correct! Bilawal Zardari’s visit to India clearly defined that Pakistan’s foreign policy is non-existent under PDM government".

"It’s absolutely shameful how PDM has disregarded Modi’s atrocities in Kashmir and to Muslims in India!"

Former minister of Human Rights, Shireen Mazari tweeted "as I had pointed out earlier, Imported FM desperate to go to Goa to show his loyalty to Bajwa Plan of appeasing US on Israel & India."

"He again missed meeting on Afghanistan because no photo ops there! Despite insult by India of refusal to arrange bilateral meetings, he's desperate to go!," she said.

On the other hand, PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi had "no objections" to Bilawal's visit to the neighbouring country.

In a video circulating on social media, he said "Pakistan is member of SCO and it is multilateral body. We should use this forum for our betterment."

FM Bilawal lands in India for SCO meeting

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari landed in India on Thursday to lead Pakistan’s delegation at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) being held on May 4-5 in Goa.

He was received by high-ranking officials in India including the deputy high commissioner of Pakistan in India. He is expected to deliver a speech on Friday.

In a video posted on his Twitter account, he confirmed that he arrived in India.

Breaking down the itinerary for Thursday, he said “I am scheduled to meet Russian and Uzbek foreign ministers. Then there will be a dinner of all finance ministers and I will give a few interviews after that.”

In a tweet prior to his flight, the FM said that his visit is a message of how much Pakistan gives importance to the SCO.

“I am looking forward to engaging bilaterally with those countries who are part of this organization,” he said.

It was IK's weak foreign policy that gave Modi a chance to put the lid on Kashmir once and for all

It is SCO summit. It is not a bilateral visit. PTI is a bunch of Rodents following the Pied Piper. PTI's condemnation is a sheer manifestation of mean, filthy politics and this is unpatriotic too.

No doubt, PTI government was shunned and isolated by all friendly countries of Pakistan. KSA, China, USA, and even UAE. PTI's foreign policy was a disaster for Pakistan. Selected trainees wreaked havoc with Pakistan on international front. Such is the level of their competence and intellect. They are a curse.

@TimeToMovveOn, Couldn't agree more. And due to trade ban Pak is paying more for the same stale vegetables coming through middleman Dubai when Pak can get them fresh and cheaply direct from India. Dubai is making money out of Pak. India is NOT losing money as it is still selling the same vegetables to Dubai which comes to Pak eventually. But Pak still imports medicine directly from India. Glad and thanks that India did not ban medicine export to Pak.
