TDAP chief discusses ‘Texpo-23’ with textile associations

KARACHI: CEO of TDAP Zubair Motiwala chaired a meeting on 6-12-2022 with leading Textile Associations of Pakistan based at Karachi in connection with 4th International Textile Exhibition (Texpo-23).

The meeting was attended by Javed Bilwani, former chairman, PHMA, Sh Shafiq Jhokwala, Chairman, PRGMEA. Naeem Khohar, Chairman, PCMEA along with other members of the Association.

Director General, Textile & Leather Division welcomed the participants and Director Textile, Madiha Ali, gave a comprehensive presentation highlighting the objectives and purpose of this flagship event of TDAP - TEXPO 2023.

CE, TDAP encouraged the stakeholder of the textile and leather sector to showcase the best of what Pakistan’s textile and leather industry has to the world in Texpo 2023, focusing specifically on sustainability and special textiles.

The chairman appreciated the way forward and efforts of TDAP in supporting the textile industry through these pressing times and agreed to participate with full zeal. Bilwani assured PHMA’s full-fledged active participation and stated that PHMA stands with TDAP in striving for a collective goal, to enhance the exports of the textile sector of the country through value addition.

Sh Shafiq, Chairman, PRGMEA also assured maximum participation from PRGMEA to showcase the innovation of the SMEs of Pakistan at Texpo 2023.
