KARACHI: On Tuesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.231 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,874. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.414 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.708 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.823 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.654 billion), DJ (PKR 1.601 billion), Silver (PKR 368.958 million), SP 500 (PKR 189.681 million), Platinum (PKR 176.001 million), Copper (PKR 135.191 million), Natural Gas (PKR 102.843 million), Brent (PKR 43.766 million). Japan Equity (PKR 12.509 million). In Agricultural Commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.099 million was traded.
