ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Miftah Ismail held a meeting with a delegation of Pakistan Gems Jewellery Traders and Exporters Association (PGTEA) headed by Fayyaz Qureshi, senior Vice Chairman (PGTEA) at the Finance Division Wednesday, said a press release issued on Wednesday. PGTEA Chairman, Akhtar Khan Tessori, also virtually joined the meeting.
The delegation thanked the chair for addressing their concerns related to taxation and appreciated the role of the present government in facilitating the gems and jewellery sector.
The meeting also discussed some policy measures for enhancing the exports of gems and jewellery.
